THE PROFILE

  • Project management and coordination of all environmental remediation projects at current or former Amphenol sites in the United States.
  • Regularly provide summaries at client status update meetings
  • Review of technical work plans and correspondence with regulatory agencies
  • Subcontractor procurement and management
  • Site visits
  • Data collection, management, and evaluation
  • Budget development and invoice processing
  • Proposal development and cost estimate preparation
  • Building client relationships
  • Manage environmental due diligence contractor for potential business acquisitions.
  • Assist with other EHS, Sustainability, and Social Responsibility projects as needed.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Personable communication with various stakeholders (client, colleagues, contractors, governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations – NGOs, etc) related to inquiries and requests for information.
  • Collection, maintenance and analysis of relevant data and reports. Development of recordkeeping systems, as needed.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with the company's worldwide business areas, related to acquisition activities.
  • Performing research, review and analysis for remediation and acquisition projects.
  • Preparation of necessary administrative and technical reports for use by internal and/or external organizations. 
  • Relationship development and participation on teams in support of sustainability goals and objectives.
  • Public speaking, presentations and facilitation of dialogue, as needed.
  • Making recommendations for changes to improve performance to stakeholders.
  • Assist in monitoring emerging regulatory trends, programs and issues.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Experience as a project manager at environmental remediation sites involving contaminated media including soil, soil vapor, sediments, and groundwater.
  • Experience conducting site investigations/characterizations, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, and remedial designs/actions.
  • Experience identifying and resolving key issues impacting remedy implementation (technical, regulatory, risk, stakeholder, land use, etc.) and emerging issues.
  • Experience with leading a team in implementing site closure strategy and effectively managing change over time.
  • Experience as a liaison or point of contact communicating effectivity between contractors, team members, regulatory agencies, property owners, other consultants, and clients.
  • Mix of office experience (Initial Assessment Reports, Final Assessment Reports, Closure Reports, project & budget management, etc) and field experience (subcontractor oversight, soil/GW sampling, etc).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organization and time management skills are critical to success in this position.
